The necessity of the Aide in the classroom is vital, without her there to help would be a crisis. With all the testing and the regular work the teacher must handle leaves little time for the Teacher to interact with the child on a regular one on one basis, with school starting in a couple of weeks our Teachers need a strong support team to help them through the year, your classroom Aide is that support, too many times I feel the Aide is not recognized with the true respect she has earned. Some Aides have been with schools for many years while others are new. Experience is the best quality the Aide brings to the classroom.
