I was an instructional aide from 1994- 2000. I worked at Fremont and was transferred to Thorner in 1997. There I worked with a great teacher (Gigi) that truly respected me as a person and often asked for my opinion and input. Other teachers were not as grateful or respectful to aides. I once overheard a teacher saying that her aide was "dumb" when in fact, her aide was a wonderful, generous lady that interacted well with the students (which Gigi quickly pointed out to her rude, clueless colleague). I was truly blessed to have been in a classroom with someone that appreciated me. Aides are a very important part of the classroom setting and teachers are blessed to have them.

I'm going to try to step back from all this into a little history. First there was the clergy, the aristocracy and the peasants, or the first three estates. When did media come along, i.e., the 4th estate. Sometime after Gutenberg and the printing press, media as we know it now. Was it always biased by money? In other words paid for by powers other than the readers who buy or subscribe. As soon as that became big time, i.e., wealthy special interst groups controlling politicians and media it was all over. Prince Machiavelli, Plato in "The Republic" and Hobbs in The "Leviathan" wrote the ticket of the modern state.

Where i differ with you 1ok1joe (as one joe to another) is I think early on in its purest form, but after the division of labor, only reporters had the free time to go around poking their noses first hand into things. If there was no media how would a restaurant owner in Bakersfield or Twinkie know Sarah Palin existed or anything she thought? Does this make sense. But we do because of the media. It would take a while for an old time troubador to get the word around, wouldn't it. But the media is biased in favor of big money. Here's the proof. The media says management offered strikers a 10% raise and strikers refused. It never say worker asked for a 12% raise and management turned it down. And if the press talks to the mayor it on page one. If they talk to a wino its on page (you guessed it) sixteen. So give me drugs people. Get real!

Well, one must take into account who the advertisers are. If, let's say, a TV station doesn't run some good story on a bad practice. Well, maybe that practice is a serious advertising contributor. It happens in all media I'm sure, from the national level on down. The media is a bunch of companies trying to make a profit... and advertisers are desperately needed in this age of tanking media...

I really think it is a shame that while Sarah was mayor of a small town in Alaska, she fired the chief of police because he didn't enforce the 2 AM curfew on bars closing. Damn. Shut her down. More infinities to come. What a country.

Yeah, advertising dollars. If you take money from people, you are obligated. Remember when Mythbusters wanted to do a piece on RFID (the technology that mastercard uses for their "FlashPass")? No? Exactly.

i think the media has an influence only if we allow it,..the typical nitwit makes up the body of the media trust me,.I've know them. i think they are like a wave,.they will tell one side and pump your nuts and then turn around and go the other way.. if you want to be sucked in i guess that's you bidness. i miss the old myth that the media is owned by Jews too,..c'mon people the media the media,..who cares can't we figure out the story by our common sense,.when we like the story we are media whores when we hate the story it's the media,.. grow up. I say if you see a continuous shot of someone saying something like say Palin. You have the right to use your common sense,..are you going to be so weak minded that you are going to let some commentator change your mind? We might was well be shackled now because we are all slaves.

Look at history it's told by opinion, But we have to look at the facts. The fact will NEVER lie.

Makes me understand how the masses will be dupped by the Anti-Christ. We love a good spin on a story and are gullable to believe everything

Bingo joe, the average person does allow themself to be sucked in and swayed. They're too lazy/distracted/unconcerned to use common sense and know the facts. That's evident in history. I never did buy one of the multiple myths of one organization or person controlling "THE MEDIA" Inc. There's some real (un)funny ones out there.

Oh, and gramps.. are you talking about her ex brother in law that was fired? If so, that's a perfect example of the media twisting things, right? They come up with a headline "PALIN UNDER INVESTIGATION FO R FIRING EX BROTHER IN L AW" then the actual story would probably be that the investigation found nothing wrong... but if one didn't bother to read the story... then they just got the headline, right?

It would be kinda like say.... a headline that would read BARACK OBAMA IS MUSLIM? then you'd open the story and it would read, "No, he's Christian."

Obviously I'm over simplifying but you guys get what I mean, right?

Do you guys agree or disagree with what I'm trying to say/ask. Do you even understand at this point what I'm trying to ask? Because I think I just confused myself and have no idea what I'm saying OR trying to ask. Oh boy... now I'm rambling... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaurgh.

Actually Twinkie, the brother-n-law firing was when she was already the governor of Alaska. The police chief firing was when she was mayor of Wasilla. But she didnt fire the brother in law, she fired his boss (the public safety commissioner, who worked for her, because he refused to fire the bro-n-law. The controversy was that this happened while he was going through a divorce/custody battle with her sister. So the question is was it coincidence that his work performance was low or was it politically/family motivated? Of course it could also be becuase he was going through divorce (independent of the fact that it was Palin sister) his work performance suffered and was legally, but cowardly fired. Thats what the investigation is about.

Oh and Grampsdon, you are also incorrect. The police chief wanted to move up the bar curfews from 5am to 2am to cut down on drunk drivers and drunken arrests. Not the other way around like you stated. The "accusations" are that NRA members and local bars lobbied Palin for help. Allegedly these bar owners and patrons were her support base in this small town so she obliged and fired him. The NRA was also angry on his stand on carrying a concealed. As you can guess he was against it. So now that that is straightened out, should we still shut her down?

I think they did investigate, but she is not being investigated now for firing the police chief. Legally, as the mayor, she can hire and fire at will. The reason it was brought by anti-Palin people is to show that even a long-time police (way before she was mayor) was not safe from Palin's lobbyist. The argument made about these two firings is that Palin has fired people for personal and political reasons. The bro in law firing is under investigation.

*The man is 72 years old... when he becomes incapable of running the country, are we really going to have a Vice President take over who used to run a village of 6,000? Spare me.
*McCain picked a trophy wife, and now he has picked a trophy VP! The man supports requiring insurance companies to cover Viagra I smell a Oval Office scandal..Lewinsky style.

And it was a semi good strategy on his part. It's aimed directly at trying to get all the Hilary-Die-Hards to convert since he has a woman on the ticket... a woman who is a mother of 5, has a kid in the army, newborn has down-syndrome... a public servant who has only been Governor for 2 years, and Mayor before that. But that's it- she has PTA President qualifications but none to run the country when McCain croaks, has no experience with foreign policy whatsoever (other than Alaska is not physically connected to the country) which all that throws off McCain's argument against Obama and his experience -and the campaign is hoping that none of the PUMA's(PARTY UNITY MY A$$) will look to deep into the real reason he selected Palin. It's a slap in the face to those voters and not to mention to all the people on his "shortlist".

Well, I was watching the TODAY show when the breaking knews came out and I was totally shocked that McCain would do this. I also saw her acceptance and introduction speach this morning. I understood though because of McCain's age, he at times loses it and doesn't think right nor makes right decisions. But that's okay because I'm not a Republican anyway. The first thing I thought about was.......If McCain wins and croaks the next day of all the excitement (especially standing next to Sarah,) I mean, she's a beauty queen ain't she? She will be the next president for the next 4 years!! Dang! What will she do? What can she do? She doesn't know anything about what goes on in Washington. What is her foreign policy experience, "NILL". I heard her say, "What is Foreign Policy", "Washington?" Isn't that north of Oregon?" Can you see her in charge of our troops?? Heck!! I might as well be Vice President. At least I was a Boy Scout, been overseas and across the border a few times.

A little late with my response Twinkie ... this is to your Aug. 22 comment about learning and History. Most History, on some level, is told by the administrative classes of the nation that won. For example, our history books say the Indians attacked the settlers, or they did when I was a kid, instead of saying the white Europeans invaded the Indian lands.

Have you heard of Howard Zinn who wrote "The People's History" As far as I'm concerned it a one of a kind book that narrates history from the stanpoint of the man in the trenches and doesn't justify the role of the stronger nation. He was a tailgunner in WWII. Got out after the war and attended some Ivy League College where he studied History and has written several books but The People's History (and it can be bought in paper back, or checked out of a library, but it's not a short book and one I made many notations in the blank pages in the front matter of the book.

Question: On Bakotopia How do I get a picture of me into that square that says "No Photo" I think you have you little cartoonish icon there.

I'm the one who originally sent "Twinkie" the email. My rant and name calling against Pfizer and FDA was an emotional response from seeing someone I know personally suffer sudden vision loss. Can I tout it as absolute fact - no. Although I'm no doctor and there is no hard proof (they say) as to whether or not there is a direct link between blindness and some Viagra users, I just find it awfully coincidental that my BIL had sudden vision loss, uses Viagra and we find out that as early as 2005 medical journals came out with articles regarding the possible alarming side effect of sudden vision loss while using Viagra and other impotency drugs.

WoofWoof (I can't type your name without cracking a smile) your comment made me gasp aloud. That is astonishing! Have we heard or read about this type of effect in mainstream media? Apparently there have been Viagra users who've complained about hearing loss as well (see articles Twinkie posted). Reading your comment leads me to believe that fluid build up (of blood) would cause such an effect. How can men not be privy to this in mainstream? You can't watch a sports program without a Viagra, Cialis or Levitra commercial at every break listing all of the wonders it's doing for families. How many families have suffered from a father, brother or son going blind? Evidently there were enough occurrences to prompt the FDA to finally make it mandatory for the makers of the impotency drugs to post the possibility of sudden vision or hearing loss warnings onto their bottle labels and advertisements in 2007 - two full years after the 2005 article first broke. I'm sick of corporate America's profits taking priority over human safety and security in this country. Corporate America's greed has in my opinion crippled this country economically in so many ways, now we are allowing them to do this literally? Ugh. I'm sick of it.

You know, I've heard this before....thatt you would go blind if you used Viagra. I just took it as a joke and never thought serious about this enhancement pill and never talked to anyone that actually took it nor did I read any material on it but I did hear of side effects and this being a hard subject, I felt I had no need for it. I also heard that if you were under heart medication, it would be best not to use it. I guess if I ever need some type of enhancement pill, I would surely read everything I could on it. I mean, I don't want anything to break or fall off because of the side effects. I'm just wondering if there have been other cases besides this one with certain side effects.

The People that practice and train are REAL and could give a tiny rats aS# if the fireworks were real or not. I breathed a sigh of relief, thought at first I was in for a psuedo patriotic mini sermon on American exceptionalism. I lost the last of my blind admiration for "Good ol' 'Merica when "we" went down to Panama after Noriega (after we'd trained him in the School of the Americas in Georgia in counter insurgency, and when it was all over, the US corps of engineers brought in dozers, dug a mass grave and pushed dead civilians in it with Panamenians of the sideline crying and wailing and wringing their hands, "Pero es mi tio" or "mi hermana" or "mi suegra." Any way you get the point.

How big is the elephant Twinkie? Speaking of fake.... where would we be without it? Where would you be without it? Look at me! I'm fake. By that I mean that I have a fake hip....Titanium at least. How many women in this world have fake breasts? What would Chrisitina Applegate do without the fake breasts she's going to get? How many have fake knees, and body parts thar are not their own? Some people have other people's hearts and the blood they pump is not 100% theirs. All that medication we take that helps us tick and keep on ticking..... would we be here without this medication?

How about all that fake additives found in food and drinks? Is there anything left that is the real thing? How about all the fake politicians and governments and all those fake promises? How about the fake sensationalism of an event to make it better and more newsworthy? Talk about the double doubles that movie stars use so they wouldn't get hurt when jumping off a moving car. Let the fake star get hurt. But does the fake star really get hurt or does he also use a double? As you're aware, nothing in TV is real. Except, perhaps, the new but some of those are fake too! And at home, don't you clean your house when you have expected guest coming so that they will have a good impression of you as a great homemaker?....when in fact, you live like a pig? How fake is that? lol, not referring to you Twinkie! Just people in general. I guess you got my fake drift?

Yeah, the little fake girl that sang was cute but so was the real one. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, except when you have a fake (glass) eye. Fake eyelashes, fake eyebrows, fake fingernails...........oh my god! So that's what you really look like? Scarry!! The name of the game here is to make the Olympics successful and what better way than to fake it! The opening ceremony was something to behold and the Chinese did a great job. I personally am very impressed with the Chinese and what they've done to make the Olympics as successful as they have been. I am impressed everyday and that is all that matters. I'm sure I'm not alone! Like you said, "who cares". It's beautiful and the Olympics in totallity is great and the Chinese will have something to be proud of for many years to come. Well, I'm sure some people are bothered by fake things. Like when you meet a beautiful girl at a bar after a few drinks and the next day you just want to die when you find one of her legs laying on the floor, her wig, fake eyelashes, and padded bra in the bathroom. But you wanna know about Mean Justice. How mean do you want it? No, I'm kidding.... I do have the book Mean Justice. I've had it for a long time and started reading it but what I was reading, I already knew so I stopped reading it. Not that I didn't want to finish it, it's just that I was also having to read a lot of criminal reports. I knew the detective that interviewed the children in the 80's since I used to work with him but I did not interview any of those alleged victims in this "witch-hunt" case. As a matter of fact, I was no longer working at the sheriff's office then. A couple of years ago, I was involved in a criminal defense investigation for one of the men that was convicted years ago and finally got out of prison. You might have heard that he got $100 for every day that he was in custody.

Do I remember the Pat Dunn murder case? Well what I remember is that he was a history teacher and principal and got sentenced in 1993 for kiling his second wife, Sandy. He 's currently in Corcoran State Prison. You might know that the prosecutor at that time, John Sommers, is now a Kern County Superior Court Judge. From what I know, there was no evidence linking Pat Dunn with the murder of his wife other than a witness that was brought to testify for the prosecution.

I just remembered a couple of embarrassing moments when dressed in my very casual and weird clothes while at home.

One time my daughter and son-in-law were visiting. I'd showered and put on my favorite old flannel plaid PJ bottoms, sans undies. I'd worn the heck out of them but Ioved them. I was fixing breakfast and needed a pan that was waaaaaaaay back on the bottom shelf so I got down on all fours with my butt in the air as I fished around for it. My son-in-law walked in to get something out of the fridge while I was in that position. That wasn't so embarrassing until I remembered that my PJ's had a BIG HOLE IN THE CROTCH!! I went into the bathroom and got in the same position and felt around to get an idea if he could have seen anything and I determined that yes, he could have. I was mortified! I told my daughter what may have happened and she laughed and laughed. Then she asked him if he noticed!!!!!!!! She asked him! What happened to honoring thy mother? Grrrrr! She told me that he didn't but to this day I still wonder.

Then there's the time that a friend called to tell me he'd left something in my mailbox for my 40-somethingth birthday. It was morning and I had hot curlers in my hair and was wearing the same plaid PJ bottoms (red/green/blue) with my old pink robe and some house shoes that looked like something Sasquatch might wear. Oh, and my reading glasses. I went to the mailbox and there was a stuffed monkey that had a sign on it that said "Squeeze me." So I did. This loud wolf whistle goes off. I mean loud and long. I turned around and came face to face with a man walking his dogs. A nice looking man about my age with no wedding ring (I'd noticed him before). Anyway, I was so embarrassed that all I managed was to mumble something like "My friend left this in the mailbox for my birthday, hehehe." He didn't even say anything and just barely smiled. I guess I must have looked pretty scary. Come to think of it, I haven't seen him walking his dogs by my house for quite some time.

It is difficult for me to come up with a question that no one THOUGHT to ask me. I'm sure they've THOUGHT but not asked things like, "Wow, how much weight have you gained?" or "Gosh, what happened to you; you've aged?" Actually, a man who used to do my yard saw me in WalMart a while back and asked, "What happened to you?" I guess I wasn't as nice-looking as I used to be in his opinion. Sure, I had no makeup and wore my oldest, least flattering sweats but what the heck? (He's no looker himself, and "Dude, it's time to lose that ponytail. What are you 52 or something?)

I live alone and when I get home from work the bra comes off and I get comfy. I lounge around in and sleep in a mens white sleeveless tank top style undershirt (wife beater shirt as a friend refers to them). I usually wear a pair of pj bottoms or just my undies. This causes a problem when I want to go outside to get mail or water the plants. I will agonize over what to wear over the tank top or on the bottom. Rather than just put on something decent, I'll wear a sweatshirt and keep the pj bottoms on. Or I'll put my bra back on and some workout pants. I go to the mailbox at a run, looking left and right like a spy, or a criminal. This has become such a problem that I went to WalMart recently and bought a cotton summer dress that I'd never wear in public but it will do for lounging and going to the front yard without looking like the neighborhood kook. I hope it's not too late.

I Completely agree with you Joe. I studied abroad in Mexico during my stint at UCLA, arriba Monterrey! I observed the same bilingual phenomena that you did. However, Mexicans were taught English and French in large cities where they could afford it; are you familiar with the term fresa? Ha ha ha those are the type i studied with. I do focus on the Mexican American population because I'm Mexican American, my parents are immigrants from Mexico (its ok Bakersfield, they're citizens now!), I have Mexican American friends, I lived and studied in Mexico a few years ago and I have an A.A. in Chicana/o studies and I have a B.A. in History and Chicana/o studies. I guess you can say I'm up to my ears in Mexicans! What exactly do you mean by "perfect Union?"

I don't believe people have to learn a second language. Hell, that's less competition for me! I do believe immigrants should learn English though, but what people don't know is that immigrants can't afford to, nor do they have the time considering they have to work a lot. Does the average adult Bakersfield resident have time, or the patience, to learn French? Immigrants should try to learn English, but they shouldn't be forced to forget thier culture, you feel me? I had Eurpean friends in Mexico, and they knew a min of three languages. I admired that. When I have children, they are going to know a min of three languages at an early age. Not to start a debate or anything but you seem to concentrate yourself on the "Mexican" population whereas we know that there are numerous other Latino or Hispanic Nations that comprise of the Latino/Hispanic communities in USA. We all know that USA was formed as a perfect union by men and women from other countries in particular, Great Britain, Italy, France and other European Nations, everyone being an immigrant. The real American citizens in those days being the American Indians.

I was raised in Delano where during my days the great majority of people were from the Phillipines. I also lived and worked in San Jose and the San Francisco Bay area where the populations consist of not only Anglo Americans but Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Phillipino, and people from other great Asian nations. Here in Bakersfield, we have a lot of people from not only our Latin countries which include all of South America, Central America, Puerto Rico, but Indian nations in the middle east. Our great country called United States of America consists of people from all nations of the world being 1st Generation till now, whatever that generation is. This is what makes the United States great.

The USA is what China is right now during the Olympics. There are people there from all world nations......in one city no less but here, all those people are spread out throughout our great land. I travel a lot to Mexico and what I find is that there is a great European influence there. Vehicles, clothing, furniture, language, etc are from Europe. Students in Mexican schools are learning not only English but French, German and Italian. Where is our influence coming from here in the USA? Well, let's see, I drive a Nissan, used to drive a Mitzubishi and Toyota. Everything I buy at the stores has a label "made in Japan, China or Thailand". I went to France a few years back and could not find my way out of Charles DeGaule Airport because I couldn't read French in contrast, I had no problem driving in Spain and am very comfortable driving in Mexico as I would be in any Latin country.

Yes, if we're going to live in the USA, we should also learn how to speak, read and write English. It is of a great advantage being bilingual, trilingual or multilingual especailly since the percentage of the Anglo population is starting to go down in percentage. Our government courts are constantly swearing in "new" American citizens from all over the world and the minority citizenship is slowly growing and catching up. So for this reason, I believe that it would be to a great advantage that those people that only speak English, should concentrate on another language depending on where you reside. If you live in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco, you need to learn Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other such languages.

If you live in Los Angeles, you need to learn Spanish which would cover the language of all Latin Countries. If you live in Miami, you should learn Puerto Rican and Spanish. If you live anywhere near the Canadian border you should learn French and Italian. If you live in New York, you might have to be multilinguistic to not have a communication problem with anyone. You ever hear the saying, "if you can't beat them, join them?" Now if you only speak one language, English, and you want to communicate with someone that doesn't understand you, instead of them learning English so you can tell them what you think, wouldn't it be better if you learned their language to put your point across. I am proud to say I can communicate with anyone speaking English in USA & Canada and other English speaking nations and Spanish in Central and South America, Cuba and other Carribean Nations and oh yeah, Spain.

I'm trying to figure out what all was said above but I what I got out of it is "positiveness" which I agree is how we should live our lives. My wife studies this religiously. For example: We're going to drive down to L.A. and I mention, "We better get going because it's getting late and there's going to be a lot of traffic during the rush hour." She tells me not to be so negative and if you think positive, there will be no traffic. So....we head on down the road and we fly through L.A. with no traffic. It worked!!

There have been a bunch of other incidences where she tells me to think positive. Of course, I tell her I am a positive person and everything I do is positive. She tells me if I think positive, whatever I'm thinking about will occur. One thing I know I learned in the Boys Scouts of America when I was a kid was to "Be Prepared". Yeah, I can say I will not get involved in an accident on my trip to San Diego but if I'm so positive, why do I throw on my seat belt? It goes back to "Be Prepared". You never know when something bad is going to happen no matter how positive you think or are. When we go on a cruise, we always have the life vest drill incase we need to deboard the ship....ie: Be Prepared!! When we board a plane, we have the oxygen and seatbelt drill ie: Be Prepared. When we cross the street, we look both ways! Why? duh!! We tell our kids not to talk to strangers! Why? Same thing! Got my drift?

I am a positive thinking person but I still have to be prepared for the unexpected which lures around the corner. Even in your own home, you lock your door and secure your windows don't you? Why do you go to the doctor for that infection? Why do women spend hours in front of a mirror getting ready in the morning? er....maybe one hour!! No offense! See..... Be prepared for any fall out!! Why do we put air in our vehicle tires? Why do we drink water? "Be prepared" !!! That's my motto.

After my motorcycle accident in 1994 when I broke my hip and a bunch of other bones, I started thinking more positive. I had survived an accident in which people were overheard at the hospital ER saying that I should be dead. As a matter of fact, one nurse said, "He didn't make it". One of my sisters was there and when I was awaken after losing consciouness, I was told I was in critical condition, that I may not survive and if there was anyone they wanted me to call. I replied, "Call my work and tell them I won't be in today". Anyone else? "Yeah, call my sister and mother in San Jose." I felt so good, no pain but knew I was broken worst than Humpty Dumpty. I knew that wherever I was going from this point on, it would be a great place!

Did I make it? Did I survive? Hmmm!! Well, by all rights of nature, I should not be here typing in this blog. I was given another chance in life by someone greater than all. I knew that God was with me but that I would have to do something with my life. I looked out the livingroom window for 6 months while recuperating and had nothing but positive things to think about. I know that we are born to die. But in between that time, we should fulfill our purpose here on Earth. I had not yet fulfilled my purpose and that is why I'm here. I have a job to do in this life. I don't quite know what it is, but I know that is should have a positive influence on at least one person on Earth if not more.

I do believe if you portray a positive aura, than it will rub off on others and if that person causes it to rub on someone else, than my job on Earth is being done. But like I tell my wife, being positive is not all that is needed. We have to take care of ourselves, educate ourselves, learn from our mistakes, and maintain our bodies to live healthy as long as we can. We should perform our function on Earth and that is to populate it, take care of it, maintain a healthy living for all, and yes.....live by the law of the Lord and follow the 10 Commandments. Those are rules to live by. You break one of them and you will feel the wrath, not only from the laws of our land but from God himself. Our laws will punish you by taking you away from society by locking you up but God's punishment is more severe and can cause you severe illness, injury or death which as we know, has a great effect on our families and love ones which will in turn affect them the rest of their lives.

The Boy Scouts of America taugh me a lot. Here is what I learned........ A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obediant, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverant. Those are also golden rules to live by.

Gee God if I say it can't be True!!! will I be Condemmed? ... Please! Please! Please! understand I am Only Asking a Question here! ... Please Don't Condem Me!

Be glad Your not in My Head with all the many miles I drive with time on my mind ... My God and I have had Zillions of Conversations (My Moms advice was an idle Mind is the Work Shop of the Devil maybe reason why ) I am glad to report "No Voices Back!" except with 2 major motorcycle accidents I swear to God was only time a Booming Voice said "Get Up and Get Yourself off the Road!"

Ok Ok Ok just a few other times too! Doing things least expected things to go wrong! ... Not once did Fear of Death enter my Mind ... I was as in 2nd Motorcycle Accident in Fast Lane on Freeway more worried about what the Bike would cause accident wise I rode the Bike Down and miracously kept it in the lane ... Can also say My Miracle came when bracing myself to be hit and wasn't I looked back and was not a Car in the Fast Lane to be seen talking 5 O'Clock traffic in Sacramento place called Motorcycle Death Alley it's between the 2 Train Trestles just before Cal Expo on Hwy 80

If don't think I said Thank You God! and Today You changed My Life is not a Day goes by I do not try to Start My Day with Good Intents ... BTW answer I was trying to get was should I attend my 20th High School Reunion My Ex might be going ... funnier yet I had nearly got driven off the Road 8 miles prior ... BTW Twinkie I did say to My God after this Ok Ok Ok I know I was asking a question but Man did I have to get that kinda answer? ... needless to say didn't make the Reunion but met some Fantastic People and found some Great Medicines for Burns again I healed beyond what ever imagined can we say Do I Believe in Miracles Yes I Do!

All I know is ... I Have Never Questioned it Nor Will I ever Get My Belief to be Shaken! ... People have tried to No Avail ... Yeah Twinkie I believe there is a Universal Knowledge We all share when open our minds to as AA NA and all Religions believe it or not evade to this being a Higher Power ... Call it He She It ... Revelations is this proof 666 trys to dispel Numerology David Koresh "Waco Texas" the 7 Signs was actually dispelling Chinese 7 steps to Attainment in Buddist Religion then if that didn't put fear in You all the Demons that would be unleashed the Vengeful God Scenario )

Just look around when see the Beauty of Kids People Trees Flowers Pets then all the Towns Cities and Fantastic Inventions or whatever open mind to truely see then You will also see the Beauty of God Allah Budda and what all the Other Religions truely Universally agree on God or whatever may call it exists

Then also understand War Poverty Strife Famine are perpetuated in Hate Jealously and Prejudice might also add Greed ... They are Man Made and Yes if we truly worked Universally we could change these ... Better Question would be Why Haven't We? ... well it all comes back to the 4 listed as examples are Money Makers! ... Look closely again at them all and Follow the Money Paper Trail You will be amazed the Control over People they each have ... Let's just say a Miracle would throw a Monkey Wrench into the Control Factor

Worse Yet if proved to be true it would despel any Control may have because People would truly have a Hope Wish and Dream they could base their escape from Control ... More Importanly a Vision maybe Look into Your Heart and Together We can Help Many

Then Yes I Believe the Virgin Mary God Jesus Other Religious Leaders yes even Great Historical World Leaders and Events will momentarily appear for the Positive ... Might I also add I do also Believe Evil the Devil and Great Visions of Destruction also appear when we are on the Negative side ... Both as Visions in Our Dreams as to Changes We need to make in Our Lives ... More importantly as You did Twinkie You threw out the Question? Do You think it's Real? more importantly maybe quite simply asked "Do You Believe there is a God?" and quite frankly never give up asking questions

Why can't We work Universally to change back to the Positive! In God We Trust used as said as the simple answer ... Hey Twinkie and Elaine, how about when night shadows appear to be monsters and the limbs appear to be reaching for you? How about when you're laying in bed at night and you hear noises outside or your security light comes on and there's nothing out there but the wind? How about when you look out the window and you see someone in the shadows but it turns out to be only shadows caused by the fool moon?'s I mean to say, is it only Jesus and the Holy Mother Mary Magdalena that appear to everyone on trees, bread pudding, potato chips, window blinds, dust on my car???? A lot of other things that are not really there have appeared at one time or another.

I was sleeping in bed alone one time, several years ago! In the middle of the night, I seemed to have woken up and to this day do not know if I really did wake up or if was in a deep state of sleep. All of a sudden, an evil shadow of a woman came from the restroom flying overhead or floating in the air. I tried to move but could not move a muscle and before you know it, she was on top of me. I was fighitng for dear life and finally was able to twitch a muscle. When that happened, she disappeared and left me hyperventilating and scared like hell. Has that ever happen to you? This happened to me on at least 3 occasions. I don't know if it was a sign or what but since I've moved out of that house, I no longer have those "dreams", illusions or what ever it was. Was the house haunted? Well, I sold that house a few years ago and am wondering if this appareciones have shown up to the current residents?

Other things have occurred that were out of this world but we're not talking about that. We're talking about Holy or Godly things appearing to us in unusual locations. Maybe on an other topic, I can mention more things that have happened to me and I take them as a sign of something to come. On the other hand, I've also been through the tunnel of light and returned. Some of you might know what that means!!

I tend to agree with you. I think when we are in NEED of a sign or something to help us get through something.. it's gonna be there, because we're looking.

Perception is key.

To me, it might be something funny/interesting to look at. To someone else, it might be a sign from God for them to open their hearts to him. Or a sign to forgive somebody or whatever.

As I read your post the other day, I began researching through the Porterville Reporter. I have seen some strange images, but never looked past the fact that they were just images.

This story stuns me. How does one know what an angel looks like?

To this day, that question has yet to be determined. How do we know if an angel has wings? What about the Halo on an angels head? Does an angel even have a face to identify? Do angels have a gender?

It has been said that angels may walk amongst us. Is that even possible?

Why would Jesus reveal himself? Is it a sign of what is to come? Why were some people able to see the vision and others not?

Questions that may go on unanswered. In reality, there are no answers.

Twinkie, I hate to say this but you have committed a serious crime and believe it or not, you have confessed to it which is a violation of the Defense Code whereas: You have the right to remain silent and anything you say, can and will be used against you in a court of law. The Defense Code specifically states that you have the right to talk with an attorney and not say anything that can be used against you. It doesn't matter what weapons you used to take his life. Spraying him with Bubbles, hitting him with a coconut cream pie on the face, throwing a glass of water at him, all are sufficient causes and with a Twinkie confession, the evidence could be overwhelming

Defensively speaking, tne thing I see in this act is that it was probably done in the protection of someone's life, that being Mr. Twinkie's life so you might be able to plea Self Defense and it might be justified by a jury of your pears. Unfortunately, Mr. Twinkie might also have to appear as a Conspirator for this Criminal Bubble Act. I would recommend that Mr. Twinkie keep his twinkie mouth closed beause as you know, the results of twinkies can be unflattering.

Im not sure what the bail is for this Criminal Bubble Act but let it be known, that as a bail agent, I'm here for you. I haven't bailed anyone before for Bubble Death but as long as you deposit enough twinkie collateral, I'm sure I can get you out before you can repeat what i just said. My recommendation is to you go back to your dream and this time make sure that the gun is empty of any bubble rounds so that bubbles can not be the cause of death. So remember if the bubbles can not pop, the judge can not give you LWOP.

That was a nice story Twinkie. Their is nothing like going to work knowing you have a very cheerful co-worker. I have one myself and she is great. We work as a team no matter what. We are both dispatchers so working with nothing but men we get to laugh all day and listen to them rag on each other just like women do only they are better. Sorry for your loss but I a sure you another singer will come along. Good luck in your next hire.
