Someone had an appointment to see our house at 10:30 am Saturday morning. So I tidied things up, put all of Charlotte's stuff out in the garage and took Charlotte with me.
I did not know where I was going.
At first I thought that I would take Charlotte to the dog park. I was on the 178 freeway and something in me yearned to go farther. So, I didn't get off at the exit I needed to in order to go to the dog park.
Then I thought that I might take her out to the City in the Hills development. All the surface streets are in with sidewalks, so I thought it might be a good idea to familiarize her with the neighborhood that she'll be moving to. Then maybe it won't be such a harsh transition.
This made me think of when we visited the models with Ruth and Eric. Eric asked us how far away the mountains you can see from our house are and if we could hike around up there.
It also made me think about Mammoth and Stephen being too nervous to take the canyon (178) freeway back to...
