About SocialDrinker

Back in the time of horse carriages most traveling was done by walking.  Not everyone could afford a carriage.  There were no cell phones, beepers or public telephones on every corner store.  Life was slow.  A long slow process and the only thing to do was get married at a young age and start your family.  Now we keep inventing ways to do things faster.  Everyone is in a hurry.  Who has a faster internet?  Who can get a hold of you faster, how can you get a hold of them faster, make a faster car, travel by plane to get there faster.  But with all this speed what are we doing with our extra time?  It would seem that we should have loads of extra time since we dont have to spend hours just get somewhere or days just for someone to receive our letter. Where are we going in such a hurry?   I say, once in awhile... stop and have a drink.  Enjoy life.  Take Your Time.

Hi it's me, Twinkie here to announce that Divas Don't Yield by Sofia Quintero is the MAS BOOK CLUB's book of the month for March. I am a HUGE Sofia Quintero fan. HUGE. BIG! Almost to the point of obsession. A healthy obsession of course. I mean, stalkers can be healthy right? (KIDDING) Anyways, if you're interested, just click on the link for more details! Hope you decide to join in the discussion! :) http://www.masbakersfield.c...
