About Maricela I'm a 25 yr old wife, daughter, sister, and employee.  I was born in East L.A. to Mexican natives.  I was raised with mexican tradiciones, morales, and valores in a Mexican community.  I consider myself a Mexican (even though my husband, born and raised in Mexico, calls me a Pocha).  I love who I have grown up to be.  If I could be born again into any ethnicity or race of my choice I would still choose to be born a MEXICAN. I'm currently looking to pick up my dance passion... I used to dance Mexican Folkloric in school.  From 4th grade until I graduated high school and I loved it.  It gave me an incredible sense of pride to be up on that stage showing everyone the beauty of my culture.  It was weird for people to see me up there because I was always the shy school girl, but when it came to dancing I wanted to entire world to see me!!
