NAME: Leonedes García
AGE: 16
HOBBIES: Soccer, running, Tae Kwon Do
GRADE: Junior at Delano High School
HOMETOWN: Delano
About Myself:
I’m currently a junior at Delano High and come from a Mexican background.
My parents migrated here from Sinaloa and have more than 18 years living here in Delano.
I’m very involved in extra-curricular activities. I run cross country, play soccer, and run hurdles for track.
Outside of school, I practice Tae Kwon Do.
Besides sports, I am involved in S-club, which gives back to the community, MEChA/Maya, a Hispanic cultural club, Live Wire, our school newspaper, and I’m junior class president.
I’m currently taking honors and AP classes to get the most out of the education provided to me. I’m not sure what I want to study, but I do want to be accepted into a good university.
