May, in most cultures is dedicated to Mary.  May for me means "Mama", as she too,  was  very dedicated to  Mary, and her family.  My  precious "Mama's" birthday is on May 1st, and of course we have Mother's Day, on May 11th.  Those special days will always hold beautiful memories of "Mama."   Gifts, never meant that much to "Mama", she loved the little things in life, flowers, a small handkerchief, and any little card or drawing from her grandchildren.  She loved them all dearly.  "Gifts with meaning" she called them.   "Mama", also had a special photo she often looked at with sadness.  This picture is special to me because, it shows the strong love a mother and daughter had for each other.  The same love that I have for my "Mama", a love that will always live in my heart............

You feel the same way I do about May. I couldn't agree more. May is also a beautiful month to me. My Mother's birthday May 26th, my daughter's birthday May 16th, My grandson 1st birthday May 19th, and sadly my MOTHER'S PASSING cinco de mayo. But I'll never forget MOTHER'S day. MY mother to was always the type that no matter what the gift was she showed so much appreciation. I enjoyed reading your article,  I had to comment on it.  Thank You.
