What’s up and welcome back to your weekly fix of In the Mixx! First of all, big ups to everyone who went to The Mothership last Saturday night. Remember, this club happens only on the last Saturday of the month inside of Sandrini’s. For that funky, soulful and cool musica you won’t hear on the radio, this is the spot to party! Also, Colby O’ Donis performed at The Dome — good support for these two events. OK, with Cinco de Drinko just around the corner, let’s see what’s happening this weekend and beyond ...

West Coast action
On Friday, May 2, make it a West Coast Night at The Dome, 2201 V St., starring J Wells, plus special guest Roscoe of Tha Dogg Pound. Doors open at 7 p.m. Showtime is at 8. This show is for the 18 & over with ID.

Tickets are $20 at the door, and $15 pre-sale at The Dome box office or by calling 213-8200. Official after party at Cosmo’s.

MC Magic at The Nile
The Cinco de Mayo festivities continue all weekend. This Saturday night, May 3, at The Nile, 1721 19th St., Latino artist MC Magic will be in the club performing all the ladies’ favorite songs alongside the beautiful Sophia Maria, who will also perform her hits. And for all the homegirls, LALA will also take the stage, doors open at 7 p.m. Showtime is at 8. This an all-ages show and dinner is included. Tickets are $20 in advance at: vallitix.com, or $25 at the door — have fun and be safe!

Happy Anniversary, Bakotopia!
Saturday, May 3 — Help celebrate Bakotopia magazine’s one-year anniversary party at Chuy’s, 2500 New Stine Road. Starting at 5 p.m. to closing time, this party is free and everyone’s invited, young and old! There will be a killer line-up of music, straight from Orange County Wax Apples, Bako’s favorite — The Iron Outlaws, The Natural Movement, Dirty Spanglish, C4 Outlaw, Chase’s Neon Pollution, and DJ Mikey will be in the mixx.

Moving on, Massvmixx.com & The Mixaholics invite you to party with them Monday night, May 5, for Cinco de Drinko at Replay Lounge, 4500 Buck Owens Blvd., 10 p.m., 21 & over with ID. VIP bottle service available, plus win a VIP package to The Lowrider Nationals Aug. 3, and a VIP table and bottle to Replay Lounge. All night drink specials and a $200 “Sexiest Senorita in The Club” contest. The Mixaholics DJs Damage, I-Rony, Noe G!, DJ Sol, Wreck, Oso Mighty will be rotating the two turntables for the evening.
