Tonight, Friday, May 30, Randolph’s Nightclub, 7737 Meany Ave., is the place to check out. DJ’s in the mix with all your favorite hip-hop, R&B, top-40 music, DJs Ogre, Myth, and DJ Adam E. This spot is for the 21 & over with ID Lots of cool drink specials and free giveaways, so for some different Friday night flavor, check out Randolph’s Nightclub. For info, call 615-1490.

  Sand through the Hourglass
Another spot to check out tonight, Hourglass Bar, 1120 Calloway Drive. This spot is for the 21 & over with ID. Full bar service and even a wine walk-in bar for you winos, lol. 9 p.m. Wanna just lounge tonight and have a nice drink, check out Hourglass!

  Rockin’ Roots hits Bako
Rockin’ Roots hits Bakersfield all day this Saturday, May 31 at Stramler Park, 3805 Chester Ave. Come out and enjoy over 100 of the coolest bands, including Kottonmouth Kings, Eek-A-Mouse, Mento Buru, Vanity Avenue, The Rozzes and more. Plus lots of food vendors, eight stages of music, craft booths and lots of cervezas. Also, a Miss Rockin’ Roots Pin-Up $500 cash prize contest, and check out the North American All Pro-Wrestling. Gates open at noon to 10 p.m. All ages welcome, just act right, lol. Tickets are $25 at: timgardeapresents.com or Impact Streetwear and World Records.

  Mothership at Sandrini’s
The Mothership lands this Saturday night, May 31 at Sandrini’s, 1819 Eye St. This is one of my favorite nights at Sandrini’s. Big ups to Sabrina for putting on a cool night with music you’ll never hear on the radio, a cool vibe, cool people, and of course the dope Djs. This Saturday, DJs Chuck 1, Chito Pat Solo, and Greg Belson grace the tables - 21 & over with ID. No cover charge all night. Remember, The Mothership only happens the last Saturday of the month, so don’t miss it! More info at 322-8900. Doors open at 10 p.m.
