“DUMA”, the Los Angeles Times “Best Movie of the Year in 2005,” is about letting go of something dear to you. It tells the story of Xan, a 12-year-old, and his decision to return his cheetah, Duma, to the African wild, and the drifter who has other plans for the cheetah.
See this movie, and plan for a special free event to take place at the Beale Memorial Library every Saturday at 2 p.m. during the Adult Summer Reading Program (now through July 25). For more information, visit: www.kerncountylibrary.org or call 868-0745.
The Kern County Adult Summer Reading Program is supported by the Friends of the Kern County Library, Inc. and the County of Kern.
