Mickey Rock may be busy answering phone calls and playing requests on the PLAY 103.9 FM station in Bakersfield. But we decided to ask Rock to share a little bit about himself with Más readers. Here’s what he had to say:

Favorite saying: “You are never too old to go to school. As for peole who tell you that you can’t, well, that is BS.”
Role model: “My mom. By far, my mom is just wow. I couldn’t even come up with words to describe her.”
Favorite superhero: “I would have to say El Santo. I still watch his movies.”
Free time: “I don’t have much free time. I go to school, come to work, go to coach wrestling at Arvin High School and then head home to do homework. On weekends, I also DJ.”
Favorite Mexican dish: “Nothing tops my grandma’s pozole. She makes it Oaxaca style.”
Pets: “My boxer dog, Chopper.”
