In July 2003, My Grandaughter Amanda Zubia was reported kidnapped and with possible serious bodily injuries. (Later I learned that she was murdered.) I prayed a rosary and asked the Virgen Mary that Amanda be found. There are some many loved ones that are missing and never found and their families never have closure. I didn't want that to happen to me. As I sat there praying, I suddenly felt a great peace. I knew then that my prayers were answered. The following day, Amanda was found.
There was a miracle that happened to me personally from God! when I was 3 years old I had an accident where I had gone outside fallen and cut my eye on a brick that bordered our flower garden. I was rushed to emergency and was told that I may lose my vision and or perhaps my eye. My family was very saddened and distraught by the news. My parents made a "Manda" to God to save my eye and vision and promised God they would go to Mexico City and crawl on their knees from the street all the way to the altar at the Church in Mexico City. Surgeons performed surgery on my eye and were able to save no only my eye but my vision as well and I was told that the brick was a fraction of a millimeter from severing my ocular muscle and I would have been blind. I had a total of 3 surgeries on my eye and needed to wear a patch on my eye and glasses. I needed to wear glasses till I was 21 years of age and then a miracle came too in that I was finally able to wear contacts because there was finally a prescription that was made in my strength for contacts that would correct my vision to the point where I would never have to wear contacts or glasses again. Now to this day I have better than perfect vision and have no need for contacts or glasses. My parents did end up going to Mexico City and paid the Manda to God and I owe my life to him as well for helping me to see again. This is the miracle in my life, the miracle of having my vision, Thank you God!!!
