Fundraising time for Richland Junior Band

Every 4th of July, we help our dear teacher, Mr. Kevin Gross. He is the best music teacher and very educated and treats all of his students equally.

Every year, we help him by selling fireworks in one stand.

The good thing about this fund-raiser is many teens, as well as our son, have the opportunity to have a instrument and learn to be a good player in the great Marching Band.

With the sale of this firework, Mr Gross uses that money for field trips and when an instrument is in need of repair during the marching season.

The students learn to team work and the important of being in a marching band.

They have won some great trophies and been in some great record competitions, such as the  Sweepstakes and the Best of the Best.

And they have made presentations marching in Disneyland, Cayucos, Hanford, Centennial and more.

Also, we have a Jazz Band and those students (my son is one of them) have a great competitions in places like Yorba Linda, Ca.

As parents, it is very important to get involved in our children's school time.

Also we appreciate that Mr. Gross is fair with all of his students, Hispanic, white, black, no matter the background.

His students are happy and thrilled to have this awesome teacher... so we invite you to our fund-raiser starting July 1 to July 4 with our firework stand so more students can be able to have this opportunity.
