Final Night of Open Competition!!!!!

Sing your way to the Chevy Showdown on September 24th at the Kern County Fair, 3Way Chevrolet stage.

Singing contests are scheduled tonight to complete the nights of open competition.  Next week all winners of the nightly contests will compete against each other to decide who will represent Kosmos Youth at the Chevy Showdown!
Two Winners at the Fair Finale will be awarded a $500 Cash Prize and the enviable title of Male or Female Vocalist of the Year.

This particular night and time is open to singers Under 21.  However, the Chevy Showdown will be open competition between youth and adults.  For contests at other location or locations for over 21 go to

Karaoke Contest Rules


  • The finals is a family friendly contest (No foul language or questionable lyrics )
  • This contest is for individuals only (No group or duet songs)
  • You can only represent one location at the fair finals
  • We don’t mind if someone else is doing your song. But if we see a duplicate we will give you the option to change before the show. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE!
  • No Cost to Enter
  • Costuming is strongly recommended.
  • Don’t take someone’s word for it  Understanding all rules are your responsibility alone.  If you do not understand any of these rules please contact Kyle Brown 661.633.1949 for an explanation.
