My favorite kind of Lowriders are the Old Skool bombs pre 55' cars. especially the 1948 Chevy Aerosedan w/ two tone Brown and tan paint job. My brother and I owned a trio of 79' Lincoln Mark 5s that were all dressed and decked out. People used to call us "The Lincoln Bros". We were always cruising on State St. in S.B. those were the days. It is a great feeling when people appreciate you and your car as an accomplishment for our dedication.

My favorite kind of lowrider is a 1965 Chevy Impala SS (Convertible). I'd like it to have an original look, so no hydro's needed. The prefered color is Candy Apple Red with a few pinstipes. A set of Dayton Wire Wheels would finish this off. In order to give it the true lowrider look, I would cut the coils to make it ride "low".

Alright all you Chevy lovers. I'm here to tell you that my favorite Oldie but Goodie Low Rider I've had was a 1957 V-8 two-tone Ford Fairlaine my brother and I used to drive while at Delano High School. There was nothing fancy about it but we called it the Batmobile because there was a Batman episode back then when the Batmobile shot out a plume of black smoke as it zipped along Gotham City. Well, our Ford Fairlaine had bad engine rings and it would also shoot out a large plume of smoke, but in this case, it was White Smoke. Whenever we accellerated in "Delano City", the Fairlaine would leave a plume of white smoke a block long, similar to driving on an old country dirt road. When we came to a stop sign and would play with the brakes as it came to a stop, it would bounce up and down as if it had hydraulic lifts underneath the front end. Of course, there were none and what contributed to the bouncing were the very bad shocks and springs on it. This 57 hopper was a rolling bomb and we cruised with the radio blaring our favorite music, "Oldies but Goodies". The tuck and roll and large steering wheel made it clean to cruise in although the girls would die from embarrassement, we thought it was cool. The coolest thing about it was that the Delano crime fighters never caught us.
I like the Old School ones. Favorite would probably be the 62 Chevy Impala SS. Convertible, all original white with red highlights and emblems....If I did put rims It would be cool to get some old tru classics. Then I would have to add lifts!!!!
There's nothing even compares to the classics! Like a shining black '59 Impala, low and slow, with lights pulsing to some slow song like 'SO' by War. Inside the tuck-n-roll black leather seats are soft against your shoulders and back. Cruising with your best guy / girl sitting side-by-side ( before the seatbelt law) and your best friends in the back seat going down California Blvd.! The Street Lights are reflexed on every spoke on the rims as they move slowly by. That's how we did it, back in the days..
My favorite lowrider was my husbands metallic emerald green '63 Chevy Impala when we had our 1st born with white tuck n roll upholstery,8 track stereo that was the bomb with all the oldie music from way back when, chrome rims down to the ground cruising Whittier Blvd when I went into labor. We rode in that lowrider low & slow with much pride and the baby enjoy it too. Needless to say now the next generation (my boy) is now doing his thing with oldie cars along with all the newer equipment they didn't have back in the early '70.
My favorite type of lowriders are the oldies! I love my husbands 67' SS Chevy Impala! I love the whole body style of it, it looks so sleek! The candy apple red with the gold leafing and the 13" Daytons with the white walls!! Man it's a sweet ride! With white leather interior and the hydraulics, man those oldie Impalas are the best!
My favorite low rider is old school the 1954 chevy bomb. When my husband and I were dating, he used to pick me up in his baby blue 54 chevy. We were always cruising in the old bomb as well as other things.LOL. I also like the 64 chevy Impala. My brotherinlaw had one that he was always hopping around in.

Well my favorite lowrider are low Trucks...specially my old Mazda it was the Bomba....Forest green, with nice and low with my nice rims just sticking out about 4 inches all crome out had my 2 woofers and 6tweets dont forget the mids....it used to rattle the neighborhood...LOLlove to ride slow and low...
