Experts say laughing burns excess calories, so why not listen to comedian George Lopez’s iTunes song picks for a double dose of chuckling fat burning power?

Lopez’s iTunes celebrity playlist is a mix of old school, classic rock, and clips from his comedy shows.

Lopez has made several comedy appearances in Bakersfield and plans to stop again on Sept. 23 for his 2007 tour at the Rabobank Arena.

So until he comes back into town, sweat to his oldies, and laugh for guaranteed fun with his playlist.

1. “Rock ‘n’ Roll All Nite” - KISS (My summer anthem)

2. “Tie your Mother Down” - Queen (To me, this is what 70s rock ‘n’ roll is all about.)

3. “Si Se Puede ‘Oh My God’”
- George Lopez (The opening track of my new album “El más Chingon.” If you like this one, buy the whole thing.)

4. “Behind Blue Eyes” - The Who (Soft and hard like me.)

5. “Should I Stay or Should I Go” - The Clash

6. “Fooled Around and Fell in Love” - Elvin Bishop (Love the words, and I just never get sick of hearing this song.)

7. “Low Rider” - War (Not just a song, an anthem ... my personal anthem.)

8. “Your Wildest Dreams”
- The Moody Blues (Reminds me of my first girlfriend and my dream of being a comedian.)

9. “Strawberry Letter 23” - The Brothers Johnson (Funky with a great beat. A great wine drinking song!)

10. “Colour my World” - Chicago (This song centers me every time I hear it.)

11. “No One to Depend on” - Santana

12. “Sara Smile” - Daryl Hall and John Oates (Because I am man enough to admit I like Hall and Oates.)

13. “Something About You”
- Level 42 (One-hit wonder, but the one hit I dig.)

14. “God Only Knows”
- The Beach Boys (A summer song that is good all year.)

15. “Brother Louie”
- The Stories (Interracial love, and sabes que, I can relate.)

16. “Church Hangover”
- George Lopez (Who hasn’t had a church hangover at least once in their life?)

17. “Easy”
- The Commodores (About making it and the sacrifice of show business. That’s why I like it.)
