Twenty-three-year-old Hispanic artist Lisa Small is going to be a featured artist in September's Empty Space Theater "Betrayel" art show.
Vibrant and tenacious, she inspires to become one of Bakersfield's better known artists.
With influences such as Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dali, her paintings portray a unique perspective of life. Lisa attended San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts with a focus in fine arts.
Her first memory of feeling an accomplishment in her art was when she won first place in an art contest exhibited in Balboa Park San Diego,Ca.
