Wow!!! The Smackdown is coming to town!! Haven't seen them in person but have seen them on T.V. I've started watching pro wrestling with my father when I was just a little kid in black and white, if you can believe that. Mil Mascaras was my favorite because of his swift acrobatic moves and his million masks. There was no one else like him. La Pantera Negra came into the picture to battle with him and they had some great wars. Little Pepe Guerrero was also a favorte. He was quick, swift and for his stature, no one could stop him. Ever tried to catch a squirrel?
As I got older, I moved on to Hulk Hogan. He was the people's favorite and remained champion for a long time. Chavo Guerrero came in and kicked some butt and the Undertaker always had a great performance. The Hardy Boys were great and now we got Matt Hardy. Batista, the World Heavyweight Champion is.... well...the Champion. I'm waiting for the battle between the Undertaker and Batista.
The divas were also great and Fabulous Moolah will never be forgotten. I understand she died yesterday and I wish her well in the wrestling rings up above or where ever she may go. Torie Wilson, Vickie Guerrero, Layla....boy!! I'll wrestle them anytime, anywhere!! Let me build up on my life insurance polices first cause I know they'll turn me into a pretzel and then wipe the floor with me. I shouldn't be so negative!!
Well, yeah, I would like to see them in person. My wife hates wrestling but if I win, I'll tell her I'm taking her to a nice romantic dinner. I have got to make her convert cause I'm losing too many T.V. wrestling matches with her taking control of the remote control and putting the station to Novelas. I try to tell her that all that blood she sees in the ring is fake. Or is it? Should I just sit quiet and watch............ "GAAAAVIOOOTA" ???
