MAS BOOK CLUB: Love In The Time of Cholera
What is the MAS Book Club? It's a new book club started by MAS reader, Twinkie. We will discuss a book a month. No rules other than be nice, don't spoil the ending and no name calling.
The types of books we will be discussing will be mostly Chicano literature but we are not limiting ourselves to only that genre.
How can you participate?
Look out for any articles with the words MAS BOOK CLUB on the title. I will post the chapters you are allowed to discuss and then we'll just see how it goes from there.
This months book discussion will be Love In The Time of Cholera, By Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This discussion will take place from November 11/07 to December 11/07 at which time I will post the next book open for discussion.
I would also like to organize a "MAS BOOK CLUB Field trip", where we will go see the movie based on the book at the theater if it's showing in Bakersfield.
