My Grandmother Micaela, lived to be ninety-nine years old.  She, was my Dad Raymond's Mother, a strong, stern, yet very loving in her own way, kind of woman.   Her last years  were spent in a convalescent home.  My dad's love for his mother never  waned .   Every day, like clockwork,  he would go to the convalescent home; and take her a thermos of coffee, extra strong, just the way she liked it.   He loved to comb her hair, make sure her bed, and her pillows  were  just right.  How he loved and cared for this little frail  lady, his precious mother.      Dad  would sit with her for hours, listening to her reminisce about her family that had passed before her, and all her wonderful  memories of  her children growing up..... Dedication, love, and caring, the most  rewarding gifts a son can give his mother.................
