On Nov. 4, the polls were filled with anxious voters waiting to choose their next leaders and enact or reject new laws. This year, they did more than just determine offices and laws — Latino voters made history.

 

 

Frida Kahlo-inspired fundraiser

On Nov. 8, the Women’s Business Partners program presented “Viva la Vida (The Life Lives)” at the Red Lion Hotel Ballroom. Proceeds from the Frida-inspired event will benefit the Women’s Business Partners of Kern County.
