Wow! Can you believe this year is almost over? Christmas is right around the corner and one more birthday for me, but I get cheated every year being that it lands on Christmas Eve. OK, quick question — are we obligated to buy gifts for family members we don’t even see all year? This year I decided to cut my list and only buy for family I see, so if I ain’t seen you the whole year, then you out, LOL! Besides, I really think nowadays, Christmas is for the kids and it’s cool for the adults to just draw names and buy for who you picked. Cumbia, cumbia — everyone loves to dance to a good cumbia, right? Well, tonight, Friday, Dec. 12, The Dome, 2201 V St., presents Una Noche De Cumbias en Celebracion de Nuestra Senora with live performances by Grupo Kasador, Brisa Costena, Estrellas Del Norte, La Recreacion and more.

The Iron Outlaws will perform at Sandrini’s, 1918 Eye St., Saturday night, Dec. 13 with an opening debut performance by Gallows To Graves, featuring Mike Montano.
