On my side of town there has been a number of graffiti and taggings! I use to go to College Heights Elementary School and during the summer a tagger would tag the class room doors and floors! The teachers have set up cameras and have caught pictures of the tagings, but we never caught the face of our tagger. The tagging and graffiti has continued in my neighborhood. A couple of months ago a group of teenagers or as one victim believed gang members put graffiti up and down our whole neighborhood! They even taggged a neighbor's brand new "white" garage door with bright purple letters. Now that is just plain disrespectful and truthfully can be considered trasspassing.
This is an example of a teenager tagging in the street.
I don`t believe these teenagers are true gang members. I do think they are craving attention, and if they think they are such great " artists " why don`t they turn it into something positive? Instead of putting graffiti on the walls why don`t they put murals on empty buildings and such?
What do you all think of taggers or graffiti crews (as they like to be called!).

You are so right . . this is becoming very discouraging. . . We all have to live in the same area, why can't these kids understand that it doesn't look good and it makes our community less valuable.
Tagging is a crime and more should be done to stop these "crews" from continuing. . the question is how??
Anyone have any suggestions???
