I finally got to come home early. It's 6pm, and the sun is still out - sort of. Ay Ay Ay. Sometimes I can't believe the things I go through because I procrastinate. I should have been saving and preparing all year long. I've been wanting to take a break from the 9-5 job, but I don't know why I haven't been getting ready for it. Then I get home early, and what do I do? Jump on my computer to write? Noooooooo A lavar y limpiar. I washed dishes, folded laundry, ordered the kids around to do their chores. Someday I will be 1) super organized or 2) have a maid.

I have my first book signing event on March 21st in Stockton. It's going to be at the Tidewater Art Gallery. We are going to have wine (donated from some friends of friends) and hors d'oeuvres. It seems like it's going to be pretty fancy. My friends are going all out. They set this up for me, so I am grinning and going along. I'm not used to fancy things. My idea of a book signing involved a location with access to everyone, some horchata and pupusas, with some salsa playing in the background. Well, there are going to be plenty of opportunities.
