One of my good friends, who now wants to remain annonymous, decided that she was going to help me the fastest, cheapest, easiest way she can. She emailed everyone she knew and everyone they knew. She got the idea after receiving an Irish Fairy chain mail, where if you don't forward to ten people something bad will happen to you. She sent out a message that if you forward her message to ten people, something good will happen. Namely that they will get something from me. Yes, I was surprised at first, I mean hijole! what if a million people write me??? Okay, that's exagerated, but what if? I read her email and it's okay, I guess. It just states that she's doing this for me and that they should check out the website and send it on. They are supposed to send me a copy of the forwarded email and I am supposed to send them something - a key chain or something with my signature and book cover I think. Well, aver que pasa. She swears that chain mail goes everywhere and no matter how much people hate them, they just forward them on. That would be a good story to tell Oprah - I got famous through chain mail.
My question was - is that legal??? She didn't know, la pobrecita, and that's why she now wants to remain annonymous. Like I said, aver que pasa.
Does anybody else have any fantastic ideas? hahahahaha I gotta love her.
Hijole, I'm late again!!!!

ha. Don.. now THAT is illegal. hahha..
I don't know wether than chain mail is illegal but it sure doesn't sound it's gonna get you nowhere. I mean just because I get that chain mail doesn't mean I'm going to buy your book, you know? BUT it sure is gonna make me wanna email you so that I get my "free goodies" ha.
Instead your friend should host a private book signing at her house, and encourage all your other friends to do the same thing.
Have everyone send you a dollar!
