What is Artuary? And why Should YOU care?
When Jen Raven emailed and asked if I'd like to be a part of Artuary I was flabbergasted.
You like that big word don't you? Flabbergasted! To me it sounds like I was so excited that it gave me gas and it makes me giggle.
Anyways, of course I said YES!! My very own Princess Twinkie is an aspiring photographer so I thought this would be great experience for her!
Besides, you know me! Anything I can do to help the local arts I'm THERE!
So why am I so excited and what exactly is Artuary? (<---click on the highlighted words for more on Artuary!)
"Artuary will be a kick-off event to introduce our local arts scene to BECA; Bakersfield Emerging Contemporary Artists...
...The Artuary event will be a full day of classes, networking, and entertainment, provided FREE of charge by the members of BECA, and by The Basement. All local visual artists are encouraged to participate (Artuary, like BECA, is geared toward helping adult emerging artists. However, if mature teens are interested, and they have the permission of their parents, they are also welcome to attend the Artuary event.)"

Unfortunately it looks like I'll be out of town that day. I wish I could be there. The last thing we did was fun.

I used have a band called Flabbergasted. We had one show. Then we broke up.

IN THE ARTS SCENE THAT' S WHERE!! ahahahah... actually, I don't know why I titled it that? It was a hunger induced brain fart.
You band broke up because you all had gas didn't you??
That's right. We were a bunch of fat guys who farted a lot. We couldn't take it.
Well, I recently too a girls trip to Camp Nelson. It was about ten girls and lemme tell yah! Girls have about the same amount of gas as men do. And it's just as STINKY! hahahaha
Ok but this has nothing to do with Artuary! Who's going with me?
