We are self employee and my hubby is disasbled but he still a good man and husband.
We proud to be parents of 1 girl and 2 boys.
We are behind them and supporting them all the time.
Our teens play in the school bands and Jazz bands, also drumline.
Our sons play baseball and they know mom and dad always supports them!

That's great. I have very supportive parents as well and, let me tell, you it is very important to have that. Trust, Honesty, and Love are very big things in keeping our family together.
Your kids in band sounds like a very good thing. I always wanted to play the drums but never did in high school. My brother is in band and I usually ask him how it's going.
I think you are terrific to be a family that is proud of who you are and your heritage. Your children are lucky that they have you to teach them about who they are and where they come from. My dilemma is that my family past on prior to my finding out about my history. I know some but not all. So we adopt tradition from a bit of all of our history. I hope your children will learn well and past the traditions that you are teaching them on to their families. They are lucky to have loving and supportive parents who can share the past and the future
