Hola! I'm Gene Garaygordobil. And I am the new managing editor for MAS Magazine.

I am a proud Latino journalist who has worked in the Central Valley for the past 20 years.

I have worked at the Visalia Times-Delta, and most recently with The Fresno Bee, as the South Valley bureau editor.

I also spent four years working as an assistant city editor/religion editor at The Bakersfield Californian from 1999-2003, so I am already familiar with the Bakersfield community.
