My name is Matt Munoz, staff writer here at MAS Magazine, so please check out some of my stories when you get a chance here on our awesome website, or at Bakotopia, where I am an Editor!

Let's see, some things about me? I like to have fun all the time and resist boredom at all costs.

I love Mexican food, especially mom's. La Costa downtown holds a close second.

I am alumni of both Bakersfield College and California State University Bakersfield, as a Communications major and Chicano Studies minor.

I enjoy music of all types, especially if it's played loud. My downstairs neighbor knows it too, sorry chief! Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Julieta Venegas, Oingo Boingo, Manu Chao, Ximena Sarinana, and Los Amigos Invisibles are always in my iPod. I now have a 160gig iPod, so every single one of my freakin' CDs will soon be uploaded!

My life revolves around the arts, so if you're an artist, you've probably met me before. I've also been an artist myself as singer for local latin ska band, Mento Buru. We've been together for a longtime, and we probably played at your house party before. If we broke anything, I apologize...

Oh yeah, I also collect t-shirts, and my favorite movies are Godfather I & II, and Amores Perros.

I have two beautiful kids - Mark and Kaitlyn! They inspire me everyday to work hard.
