I'm a wife & mother. I have two wonderful sons who continue to grow into great, happy people with many talents and so much potential to make this world a better place. What more could I ask for?

I'm also a writer & editor. It's what I wanted to be ever since I was 7 & announced that I would do so. Of course, so many times childhood dreams of a certain occupation fade, but mine did not. Sometimes I wish I did know how to do something else, but writing & editing seems to be where I fit best!

My husband is a very talented photographer whose work I admire more and more with each photo he takes. He's already had several successful art showings of his work and I look forward to seeing many more collections from him, too. Black & White photographs are especially cherished at our home where many of his pieces hang.

As expected, I also love to read other people's work -- books, magazines, newspapers. I've come to enjoy knitting -- it relaxes me -- and hope to finish some rather large projects I seem to have started so long ago!

I love to spend my spare time with my husband and my boys and our dog, Indy. She is the newest member of our family -- we adopted her from the Kern County Animal Shelter in August and she is the best dog EVER! I encourage everyone to go to the shelter or the SPCA the next time they want to add a furry member to their brood.
