[I'm taking the same profile description I have of myself on Bakotopia and including it here. I figured that was easier than coming up with something different.]

I’m originally from the big, bad town of Earlimart, where the dogs roam free and so does the Elote Man. That’s the Corn Man, for those of you non-Spanish speaking folk. Mmm… elotes. I moved to Bakersfield when I realized I was working, going to school, and hanging out here only to return to Delano to sleep. I’ve now been here for 7 years and find it overwhelming that Target is now so close to me.
My mom raised my 4 younger siblings and me all by her lonesome. My dad went out for cigarettes one day when I was two years old and never returned, which was strange because he didn’t smoke. I met him again when I was 23 years old and it was anything but a happy Montel reunion.
I love watching all kinds of movies. Netflix is my friend. I also love to read but don’t get to read as much as I once did. However, I do feel all intelligent-like now since I joined an online MySpace book discussion group, co-founded by fellow Bakotopian and MAStopian, Twinkie! [Ha! Okay, there must be some term for Mas member I have yet to learn.]
I don’t sing but I do dance, barely enough to avoid looking like a total spaz. Chances are if you heard me sing though, you were accompanying me in a drunken debauchery in Cabo. Good times... I have come to terms with the fact that I am an introvert and fully accept being one, although I, at times, enjoy being in the midst of extroverted people.
I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up and that’s okay with me, so I don't care if everyone else thinks I'm too vieja to still be "unsure".
Three questions that absolutely annoy me: When are you going to get married? When are you going to have kids? When are you going back for your Master’s degree? They begin getting annoying after the 100th time asked. And if you really want to push me over the edge, add “ma’am” to the end of each question.
Why did I join Mas? Because I like to stalk my friend Twinkie. :) Read her blog, she's hilarious and the coolest pastry I've ever met! Also, the deal-maker for making Mas my home was that I won the Juanes CD on my very first entry in a contest on this website. That just plain rocks!! I love Juanes.
